Children learn best in environments that build warm and trusting relationships. Children, teachers and families are learning companions, and enthusiasm for learning is shared. At our Centre we respect the contribution that each person makes to learning, each member of our community, children and adults, are valued for their expertise.

We encourage and support children to build friendships and respect and kindness are among the values of our Centre. Social skills are developed through teachers role-modelling and teaching children to communicate and respond appropriately to their own thoughts and emotions.

"Our whole family loves Claudelands! Our kids enjoy the super-fun environment with different learning activities every day and we love being able to keep up-to-date with what they are doing via online portfolios."

- Angela Lusty

"Claudelands really is a second home for my kids. The consistent and caring atmosphere and the supportive, professional staff means I can go off to work knowing they are amongst friends and family. The relationships and learning opportunities that Sam developed at Claudelands have given her a huge amount of confidence and resilience which has translated to a successful start to school. I look forward to my youngest reaping the same benefits as he grows up with his buddies in the under twos."

- Isabel Gibson

"We have two children that have been through Claudelands and we are truly sad to leave. The teachers are passionate about the children, their learning and providing a safe, explorative, and fun learning environment. They have established a strong relationship with us and our children. We have loved the learning stories they share about our children as it makes us feel like we have been part of their day. I am happy to recommend them and believe they have helped to shape and develop our wonderful children and many others. There is strong leadership and relationships between all staff, which is very evident within the centre."
